Fish of Eaton Canyon
Okay, so this is somewhat misleading. There aren't any fish
that naturally occur in
Eaton Canyon. During the summer months in seasons with normal
precipitation,
there is little or no water in the stream south of the bridge.
While we do have a
pond just north of the Nature Center, we do not stock it.
Occasionally, someone
will release an animal into the pond or the stream, but that is a bad
idea. Our local
frogs and toads use it for breeding, and the introduction of non-native
species upsets
the delicate balance of nature.
