To set your screen size and color depth (images are from Windows98):
1. Click on the "Start" button in the lower-left corner of your Windows desktop.

2. Hold your pointer (without clicking) over "Settings", move it to the right, then click on "Control Panel".

3. Double-click (click twice within a half-second and without moving
your mouse) on the "Display" icon.

4. Click on the "Settings" tab at the top of the "Display Properties" box.

5. Place your pointer over the slider bar (Arrow #1) and hold down
the left mouse button. Move the slider bar to the second hash mark (some
versions may not have the little marks) until
you see the words "800 by 600 pixels" under the slider. Release
the mouse button. Look in the "Colors" box to the left of the
slider bar (shaded pale green here for easy identification). If you see "True
Color" in the box
- either (24 bit)
or (32 bit) - click on "OK" (Arrow #4). Otherwise, click on the
black triangle to the right of the box (Arrow #2), click on one of the
"True Color" selections (Arrow #3), then click on
"OK" (Arrow #4).

6. Follow the onscreen instructions. Click HERE to return.
